Sweet® Balance Updates
Sweet Balance withdrawals for Canadian users is currently being tested amongst a small group of NHL Breakaway collectors (thank you!). We will notify users via email and in a Discord announcement once this is fully tested and live.
Pack Randomization
We’ve recently tested an update that will distribute pack edition numbers randomly upon initial sale; this was used in today's drop and will be in place for drops moving forward.
In the past, packs were sold sequentially (i.e. the first person to cart gets #1, second person gets #2, etc), and any carted packs not purchased were placed at the end of the line before being carted again.
All pack contents will continue to be randomly distributed, but this update provides more equal opportunity for collectors who like to hold low mint numbers of packs.
Pack Building Engine
We’ve seen some questions on pack creation – the pack building engine was built from the ground up by Sweet to provide the most reliable and randomized experience for collectors.
Since our launch, we have incorporated a mechanism that allows for public verification that pack contents are not changed after they are created. Before each drop we define the contents of all packs, and then create a cryptographic hash for each one that incorporates information on the exact highlights and edition numbers it contains. As part of the pack opening process, we reveal the information used to create that cryptographic hash. This allows anyone to confirm that the contents of the pack were not changed from what we initially created.
We are working on making this feature more easily accessible, so collectors can verify the integrity of our packs as they open them.
User Collection Updates
Added search support “My Collection,” allowing you to easily search your collection by Player, Team, or Pack Name.
Ice Nation Unpacked
ICYMI, we recently ran some in-venue promos with the Anaheim Ducks, giving away Ice Nation Pack variants that included one guaranteed Lukas Dostal Fandom highlight!
To support this promotion, we had to unpack 16,000 Ice Nation packs so that we had a sufficient amount of Dostal highlights to distribute.
