With the first Series 3 pack drop less than a week away, the action on NHL Breakaway is about to hit another level. Series 3 isn’t just another drop - it’s curated for the most committed collectors to prove their edge, unlock exclusive Heroic Highlights, and cement their place in NHL Breakaway history.

With Rally Quests, Collection Quests, Set Completions, and Signature Quests all back in play, this is the moment to put your collection to work. Still, Series 3 is also designed to bring in fresh competition. The mix of new quests, exclusive Heroics, and pack drops opens the door for new collectors to enter.

Collection Quests

Series 3 introduces exciting new Collection Quests that allow you to put your highlights to ice and unlock rewards. Each quest requires you to freeze a set number of highlights tied to specific themes, with rewards minted based on completion.

Heart & Soul: 80s + 90s Quest

Celebrate some of the most beloved players throughout NHL history by freezing 25 NHL Breakaway debut highlights from between 1980 and 1999. Complete the quest to earn a Heart & Soul: 80s + 90s Quest Reward Pack (Core).

Legend of the Completion Cup Quest: Part III

Freeze 39 highlights from The Completion Cup set to earn an exclusive Sergei Fedorov Heroic Highlight. Signature Editions of highlights from The Completion Cup set are eligible for this quest.

Rally Quests

Hockey is all about comebacks, and Rally Quests let you flip the script. By freezing highlights against your chosen team, you can create an exclusive Heroic Highlight and leave your mark on NHL Breakaway. Each Rally Quest requires 20 unique highlights, and frozen editions are permanently removed from circulation. Reward editions will be awarded based on completion place.

The following Rally Quests will be available with Series 3:

• Florida Panthers - Start: 10/13
• Los Angeles Kings - Start: 10/20
• Ottawa Senators - Start: 10/27
• Vegas Golden Knights - Start: 11/3

Rewards will be delivered on January 12, 2026 at 12:00pm PT.

Signature Quest IX

The first Signature Quest of Series 3 launches Friday, October 17th at 12:00pm PT. This will be the first opportunity to craft Series 3 highlights into an exclusive and unique Signature Highlight (Heroic). You may only craft one Signature Edition per Signature Quest, so choose wisely.

Upcoming Set Completions

With the launch of Series 3, collectors can lock in their progress and chase Exclusive Heroic Highlights through Set Completions. By freezing the full required number of highlights in a set, you can secure a special reward that cements your collection as part of NHL Breakaway history. All Set Completion reward editions will be distributed randomly to collectors who complete the set by the end date.
