Hello NHL Breakaway community!
It’s been a busy first few weeks of the new year; we’re excited to get our first major features of 2024 out the door, starting with Collection Quests which we will be launching around the NHL® All-Star Game in the first week of February! Get the full scoop below:
New Features In Progress
Quests
ICYMI, we recently gave a sneak preview of Quests earlier in the week. We are close to releasing two new ways to maximize your collecting experience on NHL Breakaway and earn game-play rewards in the process: Collection Quests and Crafting Quests!
⭐ Collection Quests give you the opportunity to earn rewards by completing fun, thematic freeze challenges of varying difficulty. We're planning on launching our inaugural Collection Quest around the 2024 NHL All-Star Game.
🖋️ Crafting Quests will allow you to create new, exclusive collectibles forged out of those already in your collection. These will launch mid/late February – more to come!
Club Event and Milestone Collectibles
We expect to offer exclusive digital collectibles in association with team specific special events and milestones being celebrated during the current season. Look for an announcement for the first team drop towards the end of February!
Homepage Redesign
Thank you to everyone who filled out the recent product survey! We are reading every submission and have already identified a few strong themes, especially around gamification, quests, and rewards.
Also, as many of you suggested freebies, free stuff, giveaways – we’ll be airdropping an Ice Nation Pack to everyone who has already filled out the survey! These will be hitting your accounts next week, and you will receive a confirmation via email once these have been delivered.

Cause for a Celly: ‘90s
We will be unpacking the remaining Cause for a Celly: ‘90s Debut LE packs, and will be distributing some of these highlights in upcoming drops, including the recently announced Guardians of the Net Debut LE packs.

Sweet Credits for Beta Queue Testers
We recently emailed collectors who are still waiting for their Sweet Balance credit, giving them an option to either receive a refund or continue to hold for Sweet credit update. If you think you should have received this email and did not, please contact Support.

NHL Breakaway will be at the All-Star Game in Toronto! We're stoked to partner with the
NHLAA for this year's NHL Alumni Speaker Series, featuring Doug Gilmour, Zdeno Chara & Glenn Healy.
