In the rich tapestry of hockey's history, numerous great players, exceptional plays, and cherished memories have left an indelible mark. Yet, amidst this plethora of greatness, there are rare occasions when something truly extraordinary takes place, captivating the entire hockey world and etching it permanently into the collective memory.

The Greatest Achievements set celebrates these historic NHL moments that exemplify the magic of hockey, and include:

  • Detroit Red Wings forward Gordie Howe’s 545th NHL goal during the 1963-64 season, making him the league’s all-time leading scorer
  • Winnipeg Jets forward Teemu Selanne breaking the rookie record with his 54th goal of the 1992-93 season
  • Colorado Avalanche defenseman Ray Bourque scoring the game-winning goal in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final on his way to hoisting the Stanley Cup to cap a 22-year career
  • Plus once-in-a-lifetime achievements from Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, and Alex Ovechkin

Each highlight also includes highlight commentary from one of:

  • Mark Howe (original commentary) - Hockey Hall of Famer (2011), former NHL defenseman and son of Gordie Howe
  • Wayne Gretzky (archival commentary) - Hockey Hall of Famer (1999) and NHL’s all-time leading scorer 
  • Kenny Albert (original commentary) - Legendary sportscaster and celebrated voice of the NHL

Guardians of the Net Debut LE packs will go on sale this Tuesday, January 30 at 1pm ET / 10am PT and include a guaranteed Guardians of the Net highlight, as well as an opportunity to pull a legendary highlight from The Greatest Achievements or epic highlight from Cause for a Celly: ‘90s sets.
