New year, new set!
The next drop is happening on Tuesday, January 13 @ 1 pm ET / 10 am PT and introduces Seasoned Steel, a brand-new Rare set celebrating franchise fixtures who continue to make an impact with their longtime teams. Alongside the debut of Seasoned Steel, collectors can look forward to new NHL Breakaway debuts from the 2025-26 season, and fresh Collection and Rally Quests launching throughout January.

Set Preview: Seasoned Steel
Seasoned Steel is a Rare set that honors the veterans who’ve earned lasting respect from their fanbases. Some are stars still driving the play, others steady contributors with years of impact, and some are the unsung staples who’ve quietly held their teams together. Different paths, same result — players who’ve become part of their team’s identity. Featuring Mark Scheifele, Zach Werenski, Cole Caufield, David Pastrnak, Clayton Keller, Filip Forsberg, and more!
New NHL Breakaway Debut Highlights
Dalibor Dvorsky joins the Opening Ice 2025-26 set with his NHL Breakaway debut highlight, capturing his first NHL career goal!
Andre Burakovsky, Joel Hofer, Jackson Blake, Drake Batherson, Sergei Murashov, and Chandler Stephenson join the Base 2025-26 set with their NHL Breakaway debuts. Matias Maccelli and Brent Burns join the Fresh Sweaters 2025-26 set with their first highlights on their new teams!

Seasoned Steel Debut LE Pack
Price: $9 USD
# Packs Available: 1500 packs total. Edition numbers are distributed randomly.
Purchase Limit: Ten (10) pack limit per person for the first 6 hours; the limit increases to a fifty (50) pack limit per person afterward. Once the “Buy Now” process has started, users will have 10 minutes to complete checkout before the pack(s) is released for another collector to purchase.

Quests
A new Collection Quest launches after the drop, and new Rally Quests go live across January!
Seasoned Steel Quest
Honor franchise fixtures by freezing 175 highlights from players who are a top 3 points leader among active players in franchise history. Each highlight frozen must be unique, but repeat players are permitted. Complete the quest to earn a Seasoned Steel Quest Reward Pack (Rare), minted based on quest completion and distributed randomly.

Rally Quests
Hockey is all about comebacks, and Rally Quests let you flip the script. By freezing highlights against your chosen team, you can create an exclusive Heroic Highlight and leave your mark on NHL Breakaway. Each Rally Quest requires 20 unique highlights, and frozen editions are permanently removed from circulation.
The edition numbers for each Rally Quest reward will be sequentially distributed to all eligible collectors who complete the quest before the Freeze By date, based on their completion place.
The following Rally Quests will launch across January:
- Minnesota Wild - Start: 1/14 at 12pm PT
- Nashville Predators - Start: 1/16 at 12pm PT
- Seattle Kraken - Start: 1/19 at 12pm PT
- Toronto Maple Leafs - Start: 1/23 at 12pm PT
- Winnipeg Jets - Start: 1/26 at 12pm PT
Rewards will be delivered by June 12, 2026, at 12:00 pm PT. Stay tuned for an announcement on when collector voting will start for the player to be featured in each reward!
