Set your alarms – we’re excited to announce our first-ever NHL Breakaway drop!

Drop date is Thursday, July 27 at 1 pm ET / 10 am PT
300 Inaugural Opening Ice Packs will be available for $59 each and include:
- One (1) Opening Ice highlight (Rare, # / 250)
- Three (3) Base highlights (Core, # / 1500)
- One (1) highlight with the following probabilities
  - 72% Base highlight (Core, # / 1500)
  - 20% Opening Ice highlight (Rare, # / 250)
  - 8% Making the Mark highlight (Epic, # / 100)
450 Inaugural Founding Fan Base Packs will be available for $9 each and include:
- Two (2) Base highlights (Core, # / 1500)
- One (1) highlight with the following probabilities:
  - 78% Base highlight (Core, # / 1500)
  - 16% Opening Ice highlight (Rare, # / 250)
  - 6% Making the Mark highlight (Epic, # / 100)
The Epic highlights randomly inserted in select Base packs will be from the Making the Mark set (more details below!), and will specifically include:
- Connor McDavid's 153-point season, which only four players have ever registered. This will be our first ever multi-highlight, merging two or more incredible plays into a single collectible.
- Alex Ovechkin's 800th career goal
- Patrice Bergeron's 1000th career point

Additional Pack Details

Only 600 Inaugural Opening Ice Packs and 900 Inaugural Founding Fan Base Packs will ever be minted. And of those, we are releasing 50% in this first drop, and the remainder during Series 1.

Opening Ice and Base set highlights will be available in future drops and pack configurations, but this will be one of your best opportunities to get an Opening Ice highlight and one of the first epic highlights in a pack.

These will be the first packs and highlights ever created in the program's history, and we can’t wait to get these into your hands!

Making the Mark Set Preview

Last set preview before our first-ever NHL Breakaway drop! The Making the Mark set celebrates record-setting and history-making accomplishments of the recent season – moments that have the opportunity to transcend the game and become landmarks in the annals of NHL history.

Highlights included in the initial Making the Mark set include:

Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid’s 153-point season, becoming only the 4th player in NHL history to hit that mark
Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin’s 800th career goal, continuing his quest to chase The Great One’s 894-goal NHL scoring record
Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron’s 1000th career point, adding his name to the list of only 93 other players in NHL history who have accomplished the feat
Additional career and history-defining milestones from Erik Karlsson, Claude Giroux, Steven Stamkos, and more!
