The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Anaheim Ducks 4-1, highlighted by Alexander Nikishin's first career NHL goal and a standout performance from Seth Jarvis, who earned First Star honors with two goals and an assist. Defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere contributed three assists, while Anaheim's Leo Carlsson scored the Ducks' lone goal and was named Second Star of the Game.

• Hold an edition of the Alexander Nikishin Opening Ice 2025-26 NHL Breakaway highlight when the collector snapshot is taken on Jan 16, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
• Each Alexander Nikishin Opening Ice 2025-26 NHL Breakaway highlight held at that time shall count as one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes, up to a limit of ten (10) per authorized Account in good standing.
• The Sweepstakes officially begins Jan 2, 2026 at 12:01:01 a.m. ET and ends Jan 16, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
