Summer Fun with Your Day with the Cup Digital Collectible

The final buzzer has sounded, but the celebration continues. NHL Breakaway is keeping the Stanley Cup® energy alive all summer with the 2026 Stanley Cup® Summer Social Quest — a fun, simple way for fans to celebrate with their exclusive Day with the Cup digital collectible.

How It Works

  1. Claim Your Collectible — Every Breakaway account holder can redeem a commemorative, non-sellable Day with the Cup collectible.
  2. Complete the Quest — Share three (3) eligible posts inspired by the weekly themes, tag @NHLBreakaway, and you could earn a Farewell to the Cup reward pack (while supplies last, subject to verification and Official Rules).

Summer Social Quest Themes

Post photos or videos featuring your Day with the Cup (or other Breakaway collectibles) during these windows:

  • Reaction Reels Quest (July 1-5) — Record a short 15–30 second real-life reaction. Pure excitement, family chaos, or your best “Cup face.”
  • Backyard Shinny & BBQs Quest (July 4-12) — Backyard hockey, driveway sessions, or summer cookouts with the Cup.
  • Lake Day & Global Summer Vibes Quest (July 13-26) — Beach, lake, golf, concerts, or festivals — take the Cup on your summer adventures.
  • Victory Lap & Road Adventures Quest (July 27-Aug 9) — Walks, runs, bike rides, or road trips with the Cup.
  • Player Tribute Quest (Aug 10-23) — Pause on your favorite player or team’s hoist moment and share why they matter.
  • My Cup Story Quest (Aug 10-23) — Personal Stanley Cup stories: historic wins, first Cup sighting, family moments.
  • Synchronized Hoist Quest (Aug 24-Sep 7) — Sync your real-life hoist (drinks, kids, pets, jerseys, cake) with the digital collectible.

Timeline

  • Program Period: July 1, 2026 (12:00 a.m. ET) – September 7, 2026 (11:59 p.m. ET)
  • Day with the Cup collectibles distributed during the period.
  • Post three qualifying times across the themed windows. Rewards distributed after verification.
