2026 Stanley Cup® Playoffs Bracket Challenge

We're back with another Bracket Challenge!

This year, NHL Breakaway collectors have two opportunities to earn rewards by using their hockey knowledge by predict the winning teams in the Stanley Cup® Playoffs!

How It Works

  1. Sign up for the official Stanley Cup Playoffs Bracket Challenge
  2. Join our NHL Breakaway Public League and/or NHL Breakaway Private League (joining both leagues is allowed)
    1. Public League is open to everyone with NHL experience and merch rewards.
    2. The private league is password-protected and open to NHL Breakaway members. The password will be shared on Discord, and the league offers NHL Breakaway rewards.
  3. Complete your bracket by the Bracket Challenge deadline (must be completed and submitted no later than before the puck drop of the first scheduled Game 2 of the First Round).

Bracket Scoring

All scoring will be done by Stanley Cup Playoffs Bracket Challenge. There are two ways to earn points:

  1. Basic Scoring: correctly guessing the winner of each Series:
    1. 1st Round = 10 points for each correctly-predicted Series winner
    2. 2nd Round = 25 points for each correctly-predicted Series winner
    3. 3rd Round (Conference Finals) = 50 points for each correctly-predicted Series winner
    4. 4th Round (Stanley Cup® Final): 100 points for correctly predicting the winner
  2. Bonus Points: For each Series in the 1st Round, you can earn 3 points for correctly predicting how many games will be played in that particular Series

Limit one (1) entry per person per Bracket Challenge League. No person may register/enter more than once by using different email addresses. Entries from the same person and/or email address will be disqualified. Any attempt by an Entrant to use multiple email accounts will result in disqualification.

Prizes

Winners will be determined at the conclusion of the Stanley Cup® Final based on total points accumulated!

Public League

  • 1 Grand Prize winner will receive a pair of tickets to a 2026-2027 NHL® regular season game of choice
  • 1 Second Place winner will receive a Jack Eichel signed NHL® jersey
  • 1 Third Place winner will receive a $250 NHL Shop gift card

Private League

  • 1 Grand Prize winner will receive a Patrick Kane Legendary (#/10) NHL Breakaway highlight
  • 1 Second Place winner will receive an Evgeni Malkin Epic (#/100) NHL Breakaway highlight
  • 1 Third Place winner will receive a Matthew Schaefer Rare (#/250) NHL Breakaway highlight

Note: Only one League prize per person regardless of the number of Leagues an Entrant has joined. In the event that an Entrant has joined more than one League and is the potential winner of more than one prize, the applicable prize to be awarded will be determined by the League that the Entrant joined first.

If we do not have your NHL Breakaway account on file, we will contact you via email at the conclusion of the Bracket Challenge to claim your prize. Prizes unclaimed by June 30, 2026, at 11:59pm PT will be forfeited
